The 2012 season marked Head Coach Jonathan Estes’s 4th season at Freed-Hardeman University. It also marked the first time in 15 years that the program won a conference title and a National Tournament bid. The hard work of a coaching staff, and a dedicated commitment from an athletic department showed great results in 2012. I recently had the chance to [...]

The Arizona Christian University Baseball Program came into existence in 2011. With only a year under their belt, they took on the 2012 season with confidence, poise, and a great coach. Head Coach Doyle Wilson had a great playing career with the University of Arkansas, coached at the University of Southern California, and in only his first year at Arizona [...]

The Campbellsville University Tigers have been a mainstay at the top of the Mid-South Conference for the past 7 consecutive season. They’ve either been regular season champs, or conference tournament champs, and that type of established prowess does not go unnoticed in the College Baseball world. In 2012, they sort of fell short from that, but that does not mean [...]

Georgetown College placed a 2nd place finish in the Mid-South Conference and headed into conference play with confidence and great coaching. They won all four games in the tournament for the title. When it was time to face competition in the NAIA Championship Opening Round, they struggled and wound up losing two game before their elimination. Baseball is not an [...]

Tabor College was solid and played good baseball all season. Within the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, Tabor College has established a baseball program that has been recognized nationally. They have earned a spot in the NAIA Opening Round Regional bracket and plan on competing strongly. I recently had the chance to talk to Head Coach Mark Standiford about his playing [...]

They are about to launch their whole essence into the NAIA Regional opening round as the [...]

I always think it’s a special thing when a coach takes over a program, and in that first year, they win a conference tournament. That’s exactly what happened to Coach Stefan McGovern at Menlo College. Despite having finishing in 4th place in the NAIA West Conference, Menlo wound up tuning up to the tournaments challenge winning 4 of their 5 [...]

Siena Heights University will begin their NAIA Regional opening round game against Southern Poly of Georgia. The match up will take place in Daytona Beach Florida. It will be an amazing setting that see some good baseball. I recently had the chance to talk to Assistant Coach Ryan Mouch and I asked him about learning from Coach Kolasinski, his inspiration [...]

Since interviewing Coach Randy Stengall, Embry-Riddle University has continued their rampage in The Sun Conference. The NAIA is no joke when it comes to quality baseball programs, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University of Daytona Florida is no exception. As a matter of fact, they have officially clinched the conference regular season title in 2012, and now that makes 5 straight such [...]

You can sense the intensity when discussing with Coach Brew how the season and the conference tournament will turn out. Last year, Lee University posted a 3rd place finish in the NAIA World Series, and this year his team is at again. They are being gritty, speedy, and coming through in the clutch late in the game. They’ve also showed [...]
